The Research Process Is Just a Small Representation
The challenge is to get people to understand why you actually want those two different profiles. You don't get a chance to just all of a sudden decide one day before the big covid melts that all of them become trend followers. It doesn't really work that way. The hip rate it just isn't that high and what we tend to do is we'll come up with a theory and turn that theory into a trading strategy. And then hopefully now and again you stumble upon things that do work and you can scale them up and they can make a real difference.
