Is There a Place for Self Effort in Your Discipleship to Jesus?
There is a place, a central place, for self effort in your discipleship to jesus. We are still living in the wake of the protestant reformation and in an over reaction to works based righteousness. The early church was marked by a practised, base approach to discipleship. For most of us, the issues are away more like heathenism. So easy to get sucked into the city digital distraction. There's an inbred kind of entitlement, and god, you ow me. And like lack of folkit, we're dealing with whole other set gilt, shame.
