How to Encourage People to Find Support Through Professional Services

Daniel: I think one of the things the sanctuary course does is it helps the church to really think about the problem or the challenge holistically. How do we even frame this subject? So I think it does leave a church with certain questions and it does offer suggestions about how to meet those questions. And any decent therapist trained in the last 10 years would look at a strengths based approach that says, what how does this person make meaning of their lives? If that is their faith, then any decent therapist would be encouraging that person to draw on their faith community. The church may not know that, but the course does help the church to realize that. It's an idea that's already out
