FAA is looking to replace a multitude of beyond useful life air traffic control towers at airports across the country. They wanted to go with one single uniform design. It's basically a concrete core with some steel beams on the outside that lead up to a variable height control cab. 500 million half a billion dollars set aside in the Bari Partisan infrastructure law for site evaluation preparation and early construction activities.
