The Metaphysical and Moral Status of Humans
Most people believe that people like you and me began to exist a conception. My view is actually quite radical. I don't think that we are human organisms at all. We begin to exist when a conscious subject begins to exist in association with the human organism which occurs about five months into pregnancy.
