Using a Fluorescent Light Bulb to Illuminate Large Areas
With continuous lighting even though it all behaves the same it always travels in a straight line. The type of light is going to affect the output of that light or the the color cast you'll get on that light so something like a tradies work lamp which the job of that is to illuminate a large space. You can still photograph your artwork with this kind of light but you need to make sure that you correct the white balance in post-production. It's absolutely critical that you take that initial frame with a gray card and a color checker so that you can do a white balance adjustment in post- production.
