The great litmus test for yourself right here, whether you're on one side of the pendulum or the other is, if that thing changed about you. And if it is, then you might have a little bit too much stock in the fact that you've never kissed somebody. I would say for the men, always asking for consent is a good idea. If that's something that you desire, always ask before you kiss. For me, this is what I've done because I have a hard boundary on the first dates, especially no kissing. That I just bring it up somewhere in conversation. It avoids those awkward endings where I'm like avoiding eye contact, giving them the awkward side
