The maximum recorded speed for a cheetah is 64 miles an hour or just over 100 kilometers an hour but it's possible they can manage a bit more too. So we have got the cheetah on her back now and we're just going to do the long midline incision just to get into the body cavity and see what we can find. We've just gone through the cartilage of the ribs and just looking from above we can already see this enormous heart flanked by lungs on either side. This ribcage is so narrow and deep. Yeah I'm not going to put that down as a cheetahs cheating I think that's a very good set of adaptations. Shall
