The Journey of Odysseus
Odysseus realized that his men were right. He needed to get back to his wife and son, and he needed to uphold his responsibilities as king of Ithaca. Even though it was hard to hear, Cersei understood that Odysseus needed to leave. She had always known that he was on a quest and didn't truly expect him to stay forever. Although her heart burned with jealousy at the thought of him returning to his wife, she was able to swallow her pride and help him survive the journey home.
