Why We Don't Talk Like That
I was raised with my mother who is like the queen of doing this with tone. And I feel like if I, not at the time where I toned you up to death, but sometimes I feel like I'm saying it with a joke and it's funny, but it sounds really bitchy. So why don't we people in general talk like that? Because I think it makes us feel weak and vulnerable. It's way more vulnerable to ask for something that somebody can say no to than to passive aggressively almost manipulate them into doing it.
