For me, it's about freshness. How much of our produce actually contains the nutrients intact to actually nourish our bodies. And often our foods are transported. So probably grown in conditions where the soils might not be rich in minerals in itself and then flow over long distances. A lot of our produce comes with plastics. The main concern for me is not necessarily the carbon footprint, but it's the packaging,. We've already got a lot of toxins in our environment and yeah, resources that we're using up.
