The Importance of Contemplation in Poetry

I wonder if pandemic changed your poetry, or if you think it's changed poetry period more broadly. I know I've always had a sharp sense of urgency with poetry that the sense of people's time is valuable. And so for me, I find myself studying history a lot more or just finding opportunities to kind of go beyond myself. Because I think that's what we all need and deserve.
