What Do Omega-3 Fatty Acids Do?

Omega-3 fatty acids are involved in this signaling cascade involving icosinoids, some of them being pro-inflammatory. We don't really measure omega-3 levels clinically like Austin. A better test is like this omega-3 index which measures the fatty acid profile of the red blood cells. It's basically like your red blood cells on average live for about 120 days.
