The son who attempts to enhance is no longer the same individual they were before. The procedure causes the individual who sought enhancement to actually cease to exist. So i think, in order to figure out how serious the self seeling is, it helps then to engage with that lite re in philosophy and ask, what are we? Who are we? There are e different theories of the nature of the self or person in the field of metaphysics.
