The science of habit is one of the best books I've ever read. As a psychologist, someone with clients like you say, actually, habits is the foundation. The next bit is finding out what specifically for you is now getting in the way of you making change. There's this really kind of surprising form of kind of sabotage in terms of things we do to get in our own way,. But totally without intention, which is over correction. And often never doing something again creates the situation in which you fail.
