Growing on a New Piece of Land During Tropical Storm Irene

In August, late August of that first year, when Tropical Storm Irene came through Vermont, the miller river overflowed its banks and we saw it start to flow onto our fields. And then when we saw our fields the next day, the river had carved a new path for itself right through the fields that we were growing on. It was just unimaginable to me in my inexperience understanding how powerful water can be. I would encourage people to go into your website and check out the photos because it is hard to imagine without seeing the visuals exactly what you're talking about.It was really something.
