What Is a Gyro Stabilization Ball?
The original West Camp was actually four, four whole feet in diameter. And the West Camp part of it was built by Westing House Canada. It was a reconnaissance camera. So there was this big ball that would hang its four feet across and those were inertial gyros. The limit there was for film work is that you would have to choose left or right to left depending on where you hung the ball.
