Alex Castellanos: When I had you and Larry on in the spring, we were right in the middle of the weekly parade of 26-year-old financial times reporters writing about Trend Following is dead. Then something funny happened along the way to the parade this summer; all of a sudden you and your peers have started to make quite a bit of Trend Following money. "This is not some voodoo sort of arbitrage strategy that extracts something from somewhere that's not understood where it could just easily end," he says.
