The Unseen Brightness of the Universe

In the 1990s, people knew that there was some missing stuff in the universe. They could account for only about 30% of what they thought was there - dark matter. But new work says that perhaps we don't know precisely how bright it is. Current estimates for the size of the universe and how fast it's growing are wrong.
