Is There a Link to Aslan and Jesus?

Jove is another name for Jupiter. According to this poem, one of the things that Jupiter brings about is winter past and guilt forgiven. That's a very good description of what happens in the lion, the witch and the warrior, isn't it? With the passing of the white witch is winter and the forgiving of Edmunds guilt. And so on through all seven books. So it's still a very biblical set of underlying messages. But it's not just obvious one to one links between Aslan and Jesus. It's much more deep rooted. All that kind of biblical imagery too is there in the voyage of the dawn treader.
