In Mozartian opera, there are moments of conversation in between all the songs and duets. A lot of the action happens during the talking with this harpsichordial will say accompaniment. So it might sound a little strange to the new listener when they first hear that kind of spoken song talking. But usually the actors are very good and you often forget they're singing while they're running around the stage and talking.
