The Importance of Friends in Romance
I love that your writing actually showcases positive African American representation and brings that to the forefront of the romance. Was that always an important piece you wanted to incorporate in your writing? You know, even when I was very young and just starting to read romance, reading these Harlequin books, there were never any people of color. And so it was very intentional for me to showcase African Americans in a positive life.
