The Effect of Person on the Street on Crime
Dean Obeidallah: I think the perception is about inflation. There's kind of parallel with crime. And epic decline in crime between roughly the late 90s and bottoming out in the 2016-20 whereabouts. But polls said every year through that period, people said crime was increasing. He says there's some limit to the rate of which we could add jobs given that we're at 3.5% unemployment. The good news has something to do with both the wage growth and the relatively slow job growth.
