The First Transatlantic Cable

This episode originally came out on November 9th, 2016. 165 years ago today, crews finished laying the first transatlantic telegraph cable. The first successful communication was sent along that cable a few days later. It took almost two decades to get a message sent across the Atlantic Ocean by telegraph.
