I'd never played in an orchestra until I was in college. We had no orchestra to play in where I grew up in the small town of Mechanicsville, Virginia is... Mechanics. It sounds like a town that Tim Schafer would name the town in some like in a, you know, Lucas Sartes 90s point and click adventure. And it kind of was that in many ways. You know, there was a kind of... Jason Maraz of all people also grew up in Mechanicsville and we went to high school together. So we're so actually friends.
