I find it hard to believe they're that incompetent, actually. I think anyone who's been watching what's been happening in ucrane, in terms of the politicization of the populace, i don't think they can possibly be surprised. But again, if part of the issue for russia is the degree to which ukraine has been receiving military assistance from the west, then again, i don’t think they canpossibly be surprised. They may have thought, we know whall the ucranians can do, but we we can do better. We can crush them within a few days," he says.
