The Impact of COVID-19 on Informal Caregivers of People with Parkinson's Disease in the UK

This chapter examines the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on informal caregivers of individuals with Parkinson's disease in the UK, showcasing their vulnerability to the virus and how social restrictions exacerbated symptoms. The study utilized qualitative research and interviews to assess caregivers' experiences, highlighting three main themes: susceptibility to COVID-19, maintenance of home and daily tasks, and interaction with healthcare services.
