The Logos in Western Esotericism

The Stoics were later Hellenistic school of philosophy who believed in an all-pervading divine principle filling the universe, which was identified as logos. The story of the evolution of logos in Western esotericism really is one of the late motifs of our story. We're looking at a whole way of seeing the world which sees a link, sometimes a fundamental metaphysical link between utterance and cognition.
