The Highgate Vampire
Giles Corey was one of the few people in English history to have suffered the fate of being pressed to death. He refused to give a plea in a trial either guilty or not guilty but if you didn't he'd still be found guilty and his property would be confiscated. The same thing happened to Giles Corey who was accused in the Salem witch trials in the same way. Back in about the first part of the 1970s there were reports of vampire sightings at Highgate Cemetery, which is now derelict with lots of trees growing up through graves. It's mudded because two individuals involved in it very much made it a course the lab for them and to push their own little agendas.
