Sleep is not like a light switch, it takes time for you to send down on to the terra firma of healthy sleep at night. You shouldn't be falling asleep that quickly if you are truly well rested and fully slept from the night before or the nights before. So i'm mindful of my sleep late ensee. I don't want it to be too quick. But al so, equally, i don't want to be lying there awake for long periods of time cause then that starts to look like sleep onset insomnia. If it's been 25 minutes longer and you still haven't fallen asleep, then it's usually time to get out of bed and try and do something different.
