The Propaganda of the Tyranicides

At the time, little to no sympathy was manifested for the Tyranicides. But that would change over time after Athens transformed into a democracy. Later statues were erected on the Acropolis to Harmodius and Aristagaiton. A Roman marble copy of the bronze original resides now in the Naples Archaeological Museum.
