The Gardening Incident

The president-elect talks about a gardening incident with his daughter, nickye. Nickie had just turned five years old and was having a great time when he told her to stop being such a grouch. He says she said it was the hardest thing i've ever done and succeeded. And indeed, that was the emblematic inspiration for me of founding a movement which was not about what was wrong, but a movement about what was right in life.
