Libertarian public philosophy is dealing with the negative externalities of this affirmation, right? In a contact where people hold political moral views that look more like smiths and less like hicks. People who fail to do well in markets do so because they lack a certain set of virtues, right? Hi, can tell us all sorts of reasons why markets aren't meant to capture virtue in that way. But if most citizens believe that markets capture virtue i that way, do theright? Then policies that hold them accountable to their actions are going to be judged as unvirtuous - whichlibertarians would find terrible.
