Draco doesn't want to give up his idea that Harry sucks. Skeeter just wants her story, she believes in creating the most exciting story. Snape is reluctant to give Harry the benefit of the doubt at any point and he's like James would have put his name in the Goblet of Fire. The person who I think really thinks that Harry did this is Snape.
