How to Change the Attitudes of an Architectural Establishment?
i've been teaching at yale for 20 years. An aesthetics hasn't been taught in architecture since before world war one. And i think that's more important than ever, because in two thousand 16 it was kind of a big year for humanity when more people on earth lived in cities than rural environments. The thing that defines human life is now architecture. It's the discipline that provides human kind with the physical backdrop of their reality. Which means we need to become more, far more sophisticated what we're turning this planet into.
