Lonely Londoners, by Sullivan, Isn't It?

I was surprised. People in my generation at that time still had the attitude, well, yeah, it's great, but compared to someone like DH Lawrence, it's a little bit folksy. It takes a while for you to sort of come out of that mindset. And I think at that time in my teens, early teens, I didn't sort of have the academic intelligence to realize what Sullivan was doing.
