The Different Flavors of Autism
In my experience, people who are autistic have a special lens with which they view humanity because familiar things are strange to them. There's something funny about the idea of these different flavors of autism. It seems from just like, I would say, casual observation that autistics are incredibly high variance and probably just higher variance than non-autistic. And we don't know why that's the case, right? We just don't understand it very well. But there's something she capturing there where most people use some kind of normal framework for thinking about situations.
