In us, other allegedly monogamous species, I feel like it might be a slight misnomer. Monogamy tends to be what humans say about human relationships. So, we can stick with pair bonding. You know, my favorite is the albatross who, you know, they made for life. That's it. They're done. If you decide you don't like Mr. or Mrs. Albatross, you're in trouble. And one of the things that we've done is actually basically invent dads. My favorite of the primates, the non-human primates, are little, little tiny guys like the marmosets. Their sole job is just carrying those babies
