Building a Shelter in the Wilderness

The best strategy that I see is you bring the tarp and the tarp is your bridge item to get you a temporary shelter in a temporary location. You just don't worry about building that shelter for the time being because the weather is nice enough. The best strategy seems to be make something temporary, the kind of little a-frame, one stick, a bit of paracord, hold it down with rocks so it won't blow away in the wind. That'll keep the rain off me. Good enough for tonight. If a bear comes in, a bear came in. Tough luck. Now you've bought yourself the energy to get that initial foothold survival-wise. Cover three
