The History of Texas, by T R Farenbach A.

There is a great book that i would highly recommend every rn one read, which is a, basically the defacto history of the state of texas. The people who founded this and then the people who continued to come, because it was here from the very beginning, were people that went into very harsh country after having done that already in tennessee. They essentially did it twice, filtered themselves twice. And that as a state, it is a state that that very much does value freedom and individual liberties. That's something that is not just part of the history, but is part of the people.
