At hominum fallacy is when you basically someone who you don't like says an argument. And instead of saying, here's why the argument is wrong, they will attack the person and discredit the argument based on who said it. I find that we take that shortcut a little too much in our social media world. Confirmation bias is just makes your life a lot easier and you feel a lot better.
