Open Private Schools or Close Private Schools?
Private schools educate about 7% of British children. Do you think it would be socially beneficial to either close that sector down or open it up to anyone? I much prefer the latter. My children went to private schools for their secondary education, that they all went to state schools for their primary education. It's a pretty intolerable restriction on human freedom to force everybody into a monopoly state system that doesn't work very well.
