Marduck and Tiamat

The Mesopotamian god marduk challenged tiamat to battle. He capsilated her in a net, which is what human beings do when they encounter the unknown and give it substantive form. Then he cuts her into pieces, then he makes the world out of her pieces. In fact, one of mardo's names is, he who makes ingenious things as a consequence of the combat with tiamat. The survival of being depends on the capacity of whatever mardick represents, this solar god, to encounter the matrix of being, to cut it into pieces and make the world an if you think about it in those terms, it's a very, very straightforward story
