Are We Covenanting to Not Discreet Certain Things?

One woman wrote that she was disappointed and weirded out the first time she went through the temple 22 years ago. She struggled to lieve that the temple is necessary or inspired of god. And if i'm wrong, won't everything just work itself out when we get to heaven? If what we learn in the temple is so vital to our salvation, why is it so complicated and confusing and symbolic and secret?
