My parents found it in the garbage in front of somebody's house. It was like 500 bucks to buy a mirror that big. I just glued some wood to the back and then I around the entire mirror. There's this software called WLED that it runs on. So basically what I did is I got a 12 volt power supply. I got a microcontroller. Ran the software on it and now I have this like wicked backlit mirror in our gym that you can do anything.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk through an introduction to electronics that you can do in your own home with microcontrollers.
