Vantil's Critique of Bart in the Confession of 67

By the end of his life, Bart had given way in a post Vatican II world to fundamental ecumenical appreciation of what had happened in Vatican II. He flagged that in the confession of 67, 118 to 120, right around in there. And so those two things, I think, Bart as critic, Bart as liberal in his view of scripture gave him the rhetorical room to situate his gashicta event.
