The Future of Fusion
In the short term, in terms of the first usage of fusion, it will probably be for electricity. There are some private companies that are working to make simpler designs. The machines they're building are very complex and they're going to be expensive. But with the governments getting behind fusion as they are particularly in the UK and the US, who's to say it could be that there are policies that are introduced to make it possible? We have to wait and see.
