Brett Hall: The precursor problems are inevitable, but problems are soluble. In mathematics as well as in science philosophy, if the question is interesting then the problem is soluble. It was natural for Brett to assume that the idea that problems are inevitable but problems aresoluble would imply that undecidability must therefore be an uninteresting problem. And yet it seems to actually be quite an interesting problem.
