Ancient Sites in Athens - The Hidden Gems
One of the things I love about going to archaeological sites is that every now and then you stumble on one that not many people go to, and it's empty. Look there are a couple of sites first of all very close to Athens, such as the sanctuary of the Amfiaros. And for me another gem which is known that the people don't visit it a lot is the ancient city of Messini. It was a city that was established in the late 4th century BC but has been very well excavated and restored.
