Is IL2 a Receptor of T-Regs?

IL2 is inactivated by the acidic pH environment of tumors enabling engineering of a pH selected mutine, first author Sylvia Gagero and Jonathan Martinez Fabregas say. T-regs depend on IL2 signaling to differentiate into T-Regs so there's some really cool data in the lab of Vex and Erudinsky which they show that early CD25 upregulation due to recognition of cell bandage already initiates the regulatory T-cell program early on in the thymus.
